## Postmark

Cofounder uses Postmark for transactional email only when a workspace already has an email provider binding.

## Role

Postmark handles transactional email for the workspace.

- it powers product emails like sign-in links and other system email
- it connects sending domains to the managed app setup when email is configured
- it gives Cofounder a managed email provider instead of making users wire this up themselves

## Domain Sync

When a domain is assigned in `Settings > Domains`, Cofounder can sync that domain to Postmark if the workspace has an email provider binding.

The user still needs to activate the domain for Postmark before email can send from it.
